Opening 2025 in Virginia Beach

There is a pressing need for a public veterans' brain wellness center in Virginia Beach, focusing on natural and alternative healthcare therapies for treating mTBI and PTSD.

Tier 1 Therapy Centers has been addressing the unique needs of Special Operations Forces (SOF) service members, veterans and their families since 2014. Recently, they’ve found great success by integrating medically prescribed treatments such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy with clinically driven treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, medication management, EMDR, neuro and biofeedback, and vibroacoustic therapy.

In 2025, Tier 1, in partnership with Heal the Warriors, will open The Warrior Care Center for SOF warriors and specialized first responders. This new facility will include an open concept clinic that allows members to meet, talk, connect and facilitate protocols designed to help improve and optimize the brain-body connection, manage stress, reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep, and enhance the quality of life after mTBI and PTSD. 

Members will have access to multiple treatment options such as massage chairs, near infrared light therapy, audio visual entrainment, PEMF therapy, light boards, balance boards, and more. To gain access, warriors will first go through a thorough psycho-physiological intake to become members of the center. From there, they will receive protocols and recommendations for use of the therapeutic tools available to them. Members can come to the center without an appointment whenever the center is open or secure a spot in a workshop on the WCC app. Tier 1 staff will check in with members throughout the year to document improvements and identify areas of need. 

The WCC will provide access to multiple onsite workshops for members and their spouse/family caregivers that range from educational to therapeutic. These workshops are tailor-made to the unique needs of SOF, specialized first responders and their families.

This facility will fill a significant gap in the current healthcare system, while aligning with growing demands for holistic and sustainable brain wellness options in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

SOF service members and veterans typically have to leave the area for specialized, integrative brain wellness programs. The Tier 1 Warrior Care Center will allow thousands to get exceptional care in their own community.

Unfortunately these life-changing treatments are not yet covered by insurance.
